Once you’ve made contact with me and let me know which service you require, I’ll ask you for any additional details of the project (the deadline, wordcount, etc.) and a 1,000-word sample of your work. I will then use this sample to work out my rate for your project as a whole, depending on the level of intervention that the text requires. In cases where using a 1,000-word sample will be impractical, I will calculate my rate using CIEP’s suggested minimum.
PRIORITY WORK
If you urgently need your work checked over, I offer a higher, priority-work rate. This is available depending on my workload at the time, so please let me know if you are interested in this service when you contact me.
PAYMENT
I can take payment through a bank transfer or by using PayPal.
I ask for a £50 deposit for projects over 2,000 words in length (an invoice will be provided for this deposit). This fee will be deducted from the overall fee for the project upon completion.
I will invoice the client in instalments for larger projects (over 5,000 words), providing the edited sections of work upon payment of the corresponding fee.
